A new study by the University of Colorado has found grape seed extract effective in inhibiting the growth of colorectal cancer cells. In fact the researchers found late stage cells and “chemotherapy resistant cells” particularly responsive.
They think that the extract subjects the cells to oxidative stress which kills them, while leaving healthy cells unaffected.
Several studies have found grape seed extract to have disease lowering, anti cancer qualities and can target many types of cancer cells.
