A new study investigating the potential of white chocolate, which doesn’t contain the flavanols of dark chocolate found the white also could have benefits on heart, skin and brain health.
Which brings into question whether the flavanols are entirely responsible for the benefits of cocoa.
The white chocolate had a shorter effect than the dark.
The authors didn’t recommend increasing standard chocolate consumption because the increase in fat and sugar might outweigh the benefits.
(BUT IT MAKES ME FEEL SO GOOD!!)
