Strawberries, blueberries may cut heart attack risk in women

Circulation: Journal of the American Heart Association reported that including blueberries and strawberries in their diet could reduce women’s risk of heart attack by as much as one third.

These fruits have high levels of a class of flavonoids (anthocyanins) found to produce cardiovascular benefits such as artery dilation and countering plaque build up.

The study suggested 3 servings a week.
